Meet Uno! Uno is a sweet but very nervous boy who is still learning to feel safe in his new environment. He needs a patient adopter who will give him the space and time he needs to come out of his shell. Despite how adorable he is, he prefers not to be handled too much, especially around his mouth, likely due to past dental issues.

Uno is currently living with two dogs and two cats, and while he isn’t engaging much with them yet, he seems comfortable coexisting. A calm, confident dog sibling may help him adjust, but it’s not a requirement. He would do best in a quiet home without young kids (12+), as he needs people who will respect his space as he gains confidence.

He is not ready for walks yet and is still getting used to home life, so a calm environment outside of the city would be ideal for him. Uno has shown early signs of separation anxiety, so he’d thrive with someone who works from home and can help him build confidence in being alone. He was previously pee pad trained but has had some regression, which is a work in progress.

Uno is looking for a patient and understanding adopter who will let him take things at his own pace and provide him with a safe and loving home.
