Become A Flight Buddy
become a part of an animal’s rescue journey
Do you have upcoming travel plans? We are looking for volunteers to escort pets from our partner rescues from all over the world. As a Flight Buddy, your role is to escort a rescue animal from one airport to the other. Our intake team will be available at each step of the process to make the journey as seamless as possible. All costs are covered by New Collar Collective or the partner rescue, and all animals will be traveling with necessary paperwork and vet care. The sending rescue will meet you at the departing airport and New Collar Collective volunteers will meet you once you land in Toronto so the animal can be placed into a loving foster home until we find them their forever homes.
We are currently looking for volunteers travelling by air to Toronto from:
Winnipeg, Manitoba
Thunder Bay, Ontario
Iqaluit, Nunavut
Bridgetown, Barbados
Mexico - Mexico City, Cancun, Huatulco or Puerto Escondido
