Meet Starfish! This sweet girl is a curious, playful, and very talkative kitty who loves having plenty to say. She starts her mornings by making sure everyone knows she’s ready for breakfast, then spends her day lounging in all her favourite spots - from dining chairs and cozy rugs to the bed and, when she’s feeling a little nervous, tucked away under the bed. She also loves playing with her string toy, whether she’s entertaining herself or inviting someone else to join in, and she’s always happy to settle in for some cuddles at bedtime.
Starfish is a well-behaved girl with a personality that keeps you on your toes. Her energy can vary throughout the day - sometimes she’s bouncing off the walls, sometimes she’s ready for cuddles, and sometimes she’s feeling a little anxious and would rather have some space. She’s incredibly curious and loves discovering new little crevasses to explore, and while she enjoys a good play session, she usually tires herself out fairly quickly before wandering off for another lounge. She’s also litter box trained and is highly motivated by her favourite treats, especially Churu. Like many cats, Starfish prefers to do things on her own terms and isn’t a fan of being picked up. She does enjoy pets and cuddles when she’s in the mood, but she’s very good at communicating when she’s had enough.
Starfish can be nervous and wary around new people, so she’ll need a patient adopter who understands feline body language and is willing to give her time to build trust. She would do best with someone who has experience with cats and can appreciate a girl who has a few boundaries to work through. She could thrive in a home of any size, but she’s likely best suited to an adult-only home without young children. Once she feels comfortable, her playful, affectionate, and wonderfully chatty personality shines through.
