Meet Snoopy! This little guy may be small, but he has a big personality and ears almost as long as his legs! He’s playful, curious, and always ready for a game of fetch or a round of backyard zoomies. He loves chasing his toys just as much as snuggling with them, and when playtime is over, he’s happiest curled up on a lap or tucked right beside his favourite people. Snoopy is a big fan of snuggles, warm weather, and just about any food-related activity. He also has a cheeky side and enjoys sneaking off with socks, although he doesn’t tend to chew on them. With his adorable looks and larger-than-life personality, he’s sure to keep his family smiling!
Snoopy is an affectionate, energetic puppy who loves being around people and currently lives with another dog. He enjoys playing with a variety of toys and is happy entertaining himself, but he’s also a big fan of interactive play, especially chasing after a toy. He’s very food motivated and is already working on his sit and recall. He’s mostly house trained and has started learning to ask to go outside, although he still has the occasional puppy accident. Snoopy is comfortable in the car, sometimes whining briefly before settling down to sleep on longer drives. He’s also getting better at spending time independently, settling in his crate after some initial whining and managing a few hours home alone. He can be vocal when someone comes to the door and may try to dash through an open door, so continued training and careful management will be important as he grows.
Snoopy is friendly and confident with people, happily greeting visitors for playtime, pets, and eventually a cozy lap nap. He has met children aged 12 and 14 and enjoyed playing with them, although he can get overexcited and mouthy, so he’s learning to redirect that puppy energy onto his toys. He generally does well around everyday neighbourhood activity and has been comfortable around buses and delivery trucks on walks. His biggest area for continued training is his interactions with other dogs. He can be a little bossy with his canine housemate and has occasionally barked, growled, and pulled toward dogs when walking alone, although he’s much more comfortable when walking alongside his resident dog. He would do best with a confident, well-socialized dog who can set appropriate boundaries, alongside a family committed to consistent training and positive guidance. He hasn’t been tested with cats, so his compatibility with them is still unknown. Snoopy would love a home where someone is around often to give him plenty of companionship, playtime, and cuddles.
