Meet Oro! Oro is a handsome boy with the biggest, kindest blue-green eyes and a little bit of everything in his personality. He can be shy when he first meets someone, but once he feels comfortable, his playful and adventurous side comes out. He loves chasing balls, tug-of-war with his rope toys, squeaky toys, and exploring the garden - especially when there are leaves to chase and sticks to chew. Once he's used up his puppy energy, Oro is all about cuddles and will happily curl up in your lap, snuggle beside you on the couch, or sleep with his favourite stuffed dog. He loves being close to his people, but is also becoming more confident about doing his own thing.

Oro is a gentle, curious boy who is still learning that the world isn't quite as scary as it can sometimes seem. He is timid with unfamiliar people and may hide behind his trusted person when someone approaches or visits the home, so he'll need introductions to happen slowly and at his own pace. Liver treats are an excellent way to win him over! Loud or unexpected noises can also startle him, but rather than reacting, Oro tends to move closer to his person or stop to assess what's happening. He's been comfortable with cars, bikes, and scooters on walks and loves getting outside to sniff and explore. He currently walks closely beside his person with very little pulling and is getting braver with every outing. Oro has lived with cats briefly and was curious about small animals outdoors without chasing them. He has also previously lived with a 12-year-old child without any issues, and given his young age, he could likely adapt well to a home with cats, dogs, or children.

Oro is working on his house training and already knows sit and paw, with down, place, and stay coming along as well. He's incredibly food motivated and eager to learn, so we expect training to be a fun activity for both him and his future family. He's also doing well with his crate, settling at night after his bedtime routine and generally making it through the night without accidents. While he likes to follow his people around, he can happily settle in another room when he's ready for some quiet time. Oro is still a baby who is learning to be brave, but his confidence is growing every day. Give him a little patience, some liver treats, and plenty of love, and you'll get to watch this sweet, playful boy blossom into an amazing companion.
