Meet Mandy! This goofy, happy-go-lucky girl is the ultimate companion and has so much love to give. She adores cuddles and kisses and will even grumble at you when she thinks it’s time for some attention. Her favourite things are her people, other dogs, and food - and she loves them all! Mandy also enjoys playing with her canine friends and sharing toys, although she can make quick work of most toys. With her beautiful, silky black coat and big-dog personality, she’s sure to keep her family smiling.
Mandy is a sweet and sensitive girl who may be shy at first, but once she gets to know you, she’s a total love bug. She currently lives happily with another dog and cats, interacting with her feline housemates with curiosity and friendliness. She’s house trained, knows her basic sit, and does well in her crate when her people are away. She’s also a great little traveller and settles quickly in the car, even on hour-long rides. She’s generally good on leash but can pull when she sees another dog because she’s eager to say hello, and she’ll also try to chase squirrels, bunnies, and other small animals.
Mandy is friendly but timid with new people and may be a little cautious when guests arrive, although she warms up fairly quickly, especially if they have a dog. She’s been good with the kids she’s met and would likely enjoy having a friendly or playful dog sibling. She can be sensitive to loud, unexpected noises and may bark to alert her people when she hears someone near the door. Mandy’s future family should be ready to give her plenty of love and companionship while helping her build confidence. She’s not clingy, but she is a sensitive girl with a huge heart and not a mean bone in her body.
