The primary role of the Fundraising Coordinator is to devise strategies and implement initiatives to fundraise for New Collar Collective as well as build and maintain donor and sponsor relations. The Fundraising Coordinator will be a part of New Collar Collective’s marketing team, which thrives on collaboration and open team discussions to review current and past methods and strategically implement new ideas.
Time commitment:
Roughly 5 - 10 hours per week, self regulated. Ability and willingness to allow for a flexible schedule is ideal.
Daily commitment to ensure you monitor your communication channels (email, Slack, and respond to any issues, concerns, or questions raised by your Events & Partnership Managers.
Responsibilities include:
Fundraising Team Administrative Responsibilities:
Generating fundraising ideas
Researching potential donors and sponsors
Organizing and implementing campaign strategies
Coordinating and handling all logistics for fundraising campaigns
Establishing and maintaining donor and sponsor relations
Seeking and researching new opportunities to raise funds for the organization
Working closely with social media team and other branches of the marketing team/organization to promote fundraising campaigns
Attending regular marketing and other team meetings and participating in collaborative discussions on other areas of marketing including events, social media, merchandise/print design, and branding
Qualified candidates should:
Be well organized and detail oriented
Be self-motivated and able to work independently to complete tasks
Exhibit friendly and professional communication skills
Be highly adaptable and work well in dynamic situations
Be able to accept feedback and adapt where necessary
Enjoy working in a team environment
