Meet Elijah! Elijah is a sweet, cuddly boy and the perfect companion who wants to be wherever you are. He has a real zest for life and an undeniable love of food (the quickest way to his heart!). He’s also passionate about his squeaky toys and would love to share his playful energy with you.

He is adjusting well to city life, and while he can be a little timid around traffic, he’s adapting quickly and would do well in a busier neighbourhood. He currently lives with two cats and would be thrilled to share his forever home with both dogs and cats. On his daily walks, Elijah greets children calmly and sweetly, making him a great fit for a family home. Though he can be shy with new people at first, he warms up quickly and enjoys having guests over! As a highly food-motivated and very smart boy, Elijah makes training a joy; he’s already mastered several tricks, and his fosters think he’d excel at agility too!

Elijah is crate trained and settles nicely after a few minutes, often curling up for a nap once left alone. He’s making steady progress with house training and walks politely on leash, only giving a gentle tug if he spots a bunny or squirrel, but is easily redirected. Elijah would thrive in either a quiet or busier environment, with someone who can continue his basic training and provide him with the love, playtime, and affection he adores.
