Meet Biscuit! Biscuit is a shy but curious girl with a heart of gold. She’s still coming out of her shell but is already showing her sweet, calm nature. While she’s not a lap dog, Biscuit loves being close to her humans, happily lounging next to you or curling up to sleep nearby. She ADORES pets and scratches - especially on her head, neck, and belly - but prefers to keep all four paws on the ground.

Biscuit’s food motivation is unmatched! She’ll gladly try anything except fruits and vegetables, making her an easy candidate for treat-based training. While she’s nervous around new experiences, Biscuit is brave and eager to explore the world at her own pace. She’s fantastic on a leash, walking slowly and politely, and she’s learning to enjoy adventures like trips to stores and strolls around the neighborhood. Biscuit does best when exploring quieter areas or during calm hours, as too many people can feel overwhelming.

At home, Biscuit is very quiet and loves her crate, it’s her safe haven when she’s unsure. She’s making good progress with house training and uses pee pads reliably, which may continue to be helpful during cold weather since she’s so tiny and gets chilly easily. Biscuit currently lives with cats, and while she’s a bit wary of bossy ones, she’s becoming braver every day. A friendly, respectful cat may make a great companion for her. Biscuit is curious but cautious with other dogs, often starting off shy and submissive. She’s becoming braver with friendly, well-mannered pups and is most comfortable around calm dogs who respect her space. She would do well with a laid-back canine companion or as the only dog in the home.

The ideal home for Biscuit would be a calm, low-to-medium energy family who can offer patience, love, and plenty of time to bond. She thrives on being close to her people and will happily accompany you to patios or snuggle up for cozy evenings. While she’s nervous about being picked up unexpectedly, she’s surprisingly comfortable being carried outside for walks or when she’s feeling unsure. Biscuit’s soft, sweet personality and curious nature make her a loyal companion ready to blossom in the right home.
