Meet Archie! This playful, friendly boy is full of charm and classic goofy energy. Sweet-natured and easygoing, Archie loves to snuggle just as much as he loves to play, making him a wonderful mix of fun and affection. He enjoys chewing sticks, loves treats, and even fruits, and is happiest when he’s spending time with his people - often following them around the house to stay close by. Archie truly thrives on companionship and brings a joyful, loving presence to everyday life.
Archie is great with people and greets new faces with a friendly attitude. He does well with guests in the home, sometimes giving a quick bark at first before settling in and happily joining the fun. He currently lives with a child and has been wonderful, showing his gentle and easygoing nature. He meets other dogs calmly and would likely do great in a home with another dog. While he hasn’t been tested with cats, he may do well with a proper introduction. Archie already knows a variety of cues including sit, paws, lay down, wait, and stay, showing just how smart and eager he is to learn.
On walks, Archie can get excited and may pull on leash, especially when there are small animals around, as he does show some interest in them. With continued guidance and training, he’ll continue to improve his leash skills. He settles nicely in his crate after an initial bark and is overall an easy dog to have in the home. With his loving personality, playful spirit, and affectionate nature, Archie would thrive in a home with people who want a fun, loyal companion by their side.
