Meet Arabella! Arabella is a playful, bouncy, happy girl who is ready to be your next adventure buddy and partner in crime. She absolutely loves spending time with her people and would happily join you for a trail walk, a forest adventure, or anything else that gets her out exploring. Once she's had her adventure, she's just as happy to settle in for a cozy evening at home. Bella is a total lover girl who adores cuddles, leaning into her people, and dramatically flopping over to offer her belly for rubs. Quality time with her favourite human is truly her favourite thing.

Arabella is a sweet girl who can be very friendly when she's comfortable and has a confident handler beside her. She has been wonderful meeting new people on walks and gets incredibly excited to see people she knows, wiggling her whole back end while waiting for affection. She's not vocal around the house and is fully house trained. Her ideal home will be in a quieter suburban environment, as busy city settings with lots of people and dogs have been challenging for her. Bella is not fearful, but she can be insecure and hesitant in unfamiliar situations and is still building her confidence and learning to look to her person for guidance. She has made great progress with this and was once a serial jumper, but has developed much better self-control now that she's learned the rules of the home.

Arabella's leash manners are still a work in progress. She can react to other dogs and is looking for a dog-free home, while squirrels and other small animals can also get her very excited and cause her to pull and bark. Her reactions have improved significantly with consistent handling and the training tools she has been working with, and she is learning to redirect her attention back to her person. Her future family should be confident, patient, and committed to continuing the training and exposure work she's already started. Bella does well in her crate and settles within a few minutes, especially with a stuffed Kong or long-lasting chew, and she is learning to be more independent around the home. Arabella has so much zest for life and so much love to give - she just needs someone willing to believe in her and show her all the adventures that are waiting for her.
