Meet Aquino! Aquino is a confident, playful, and incredibly affectionate little guy who loves being around his people. He has plenty of energy and loves going for walks, sniffing and exploring, but he also has a wonderful ability to settle and relax. Aquino is a serious snuggler and an absolute lapdog - his signature move is running over, flopping onto his back, and immediately asking for belly rubs! He loves attention and affection, but is also happy to settle in his crate when he needs some downtime. He’s food motivated, eager to please, and a quick learner who already knows sit and down and is learning crate and wait.

Aquino is dog friendly and currently lives happily with another dog. He is a friendly, curious guy who enjoys getting out and exploring the world around him. He can be a little nervous when meeting new people and may bark when someone first comes into the home, but when given the opportunity to approach at his own pace, he warms up beautifully and becomes very affectionate. He is a confident boy overall and isn't bothered by everyday household sounds like the vacuum. He also walks well overall, with some pulling when he's excited or particularly interested in a smell. He loves his treats, is comfortable in the car, and is settling into his routines wonderfully.

Aquino is working on his house training and continuing to work on his crate training and alone time. He sleeps comfortably in his crate once his needs are met, but is still learning to relax when his people are out of sight and will need continued support with this. He would love a family who enjoys having a playful, affectionate companion by their side and can continue helping him build his confidence and independence. With his goofy personality, sweet nature, eagerness to learn, and unmatched enthusiasm for belly rubs, Aquino is an absolute sweetheart who is sure to bring lots of fun and love to his forever home.
