Once the behaviours of our rescue dogs have been assessed in their foster home, we may stipulate a condition on their adoption that further training is required. If New Collar Collective places this condition on the dog you are applying for, do you agree to provide proof of sessions with an approved certified trainer within the first two weeks of having your new dog?

We strongly recommend avoiding unsecured dog parks with a newly adopted dog as it's a safety concern and poses the risk of a lost dog. If you intend to take your dog to an unsecured dog park - what precautions will you take to ensure their safety?

Our fosters are given the option to adopt their foster dog prior to the animal being available for public adoption, and our foster team would work to find you a foster match based on the preferences you provide on your adoption application, increasing your chances of successfully adopting. Should the match not work out, we ask that you commit to seeing the dog through the foster period while we find their forever family.
